Lloyd Harris

Lloyd Harris is a 29-year-old South African who has spent 2026 climbing back up the rankings. He opened the season at ATP No. 220 and stood at ATP No. 125 on 29 September 2026. The best rank in his recorded history is ATP No. 91, first reached in June 2024.

Born and based in Cape Town and 1.93 m tall, Harris builds his game around the serve. In his five recorded matches of 2026 he has held 88 percent of his service games with an 18.5 percent ace rate. Return is the narrower margin: 32 percent of return points won across the matches on record since 2017.

His best wins by opponent ranking have mostly come at the majors. He beat Lorenzo Musetti, then ATP No. 19, in the first round of the 2023 Australian Open, and won his Wimbledon opener against Zizou Bergs in 2025.

At the 2026 US Open he came through his opening match against Jack Kennedy, then took the first set off Stefanos Tsitsipas before losing in four.

Later in September he reached the quarterfinals at the Chengdu Open. His 6-4, 7-6(5) win over ATP No. 19 Valentin Vacherot matched the Musetti result as the highest-ranked opponent he has beaten on record, and Hubert Hurkacz ended the run 7-6(10), 6-4.
