Jacquet's 2026 keeps pointing down, the ATP No. 102 season peak now a No. 134 ranking and a 2-5 record. Three of the five losses ended in deciding-set tiebreaks — 7-6(6) in the fifth to Emilio Nava in Melbourne, 7-6(5) to Alexander Bublik at Wimbledon, and Wednesday's 7-6(4) to Alexander Blockx at Estoril.
The 25-year-old banked the opening set on Blockx and built 17 break points but cashed four — 1 of 12 in set two — before dropping the breaker 7-4. Tuesday's 1-6, 6-1, 7-5 comeback past Daniel Merida Aguilar stands as win No. 2, his first since Wimbledon's opener.

Kyrian Jacquet is a 25-year-old right-hander from Lyon who arrived in the top 110 the long way, through Challenger tennis rather than a junior fast track. He broke inside the ATP top 500 in March 2021 and did not crack the top 200 until January 2024, by the ATP's account, and he still has no tour-level title.
At 1.78 m he gets nothing free on serve, as evidenced by a career ace rate of 6.0 percent, so the two-handed backhand and the return carry the game: he won 33.5 percent of return points in 2026 while holding just 72.5 percent of his own service games. Stéphane Robert coaches him. It is a qualifier's profile, and the résumé reads like one.
The arc runs through injuries. Jacquet took his first Challenger title at Olbia in 2023 as a qualifier, beating Flavio Cobolli, then tore his hamstring at Quimper early in 2024; February 2025 answered with an 11-0 Challenger run and back-to-back titles in Chennai and New Delhi. At the 2025 French Open he led Nuno Borges two sets to love and lost in five. A fifth Challenger title, in Manama, lifted him to a career-high ATP No. 102 on Feb. 2, 2026.
As of September 2026 he sits at No. 108 with 581 ATP points, 73 places better than a year ago and six shy of that peak. Elbow surgery cost him two months before Roland-Garros; he qualified anyway. The 2026 ledger reads 2-7, but one of those two is the result he had been chasing across four major main draws: a straight-sets first round over Vilius Gaubas at Wimbledon, before 10th-seeded Alexander Bublik ended it in a third-set tiebreak.
Kyrian Jacquet's latest available published ATP singles ranking is No. 76 as of Oct 6, 2026 with 781 ATP Points.
