Kyrian Jacquet and Andrey Rublev: Andrey Rublev leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Andrey Rublev is into the Hangzhou Open final, beating Kyrian Jacquet in 1 hour 20 minutes without facing a break point. The opening set stayed on serve, Jacquet saving two break points to force a tiebreak that Rublev then won without conceding a point. Breaks in games two and four of the second set settled the rest. Jacquet, ATP No. 107, had come through Aleksandar Vukic, Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Fabian Marozsan to reach the semifinals; by opponent ranking, the two best wins on his record both came this week. He saved five of seven break points here, but Rublev held all 10 of his own service games. Rublev, the No. 2 seed and ATP No. 25, is playing his first event since a second-round loss at the US Open. He needed three sets to get past Hugo Gaston in the quarterfinals. This one cost him considerably less, and leaves him a match from the title.
