Aleksandar Vukic and Kyrian Jacquet: Kyrian Jacquet leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Kyrian Jacquet needed two hours and 46 minutes to come through his Hangzhou Open opener, beating Aleksandar Vukic 7-6(5), 3-6, 6-3 in a round-of-32 match he won by three points overall, 119-116. The pair had no prior meetings on record. Jacquet, a 25-year-old Frenchman at ATP No. 110 who built his ranking through Challenger tennis and has yet to win a tour-level title, spent the first set unable to convert: eight break points, none taken, before he settled it in the tiebreak. Vukic, ranked 91st, replied in the second, breaking for 4-2, losing his own serve in game 7, then taking games 8 and 9 to level the match. A single break decided the third set. Jacquet won 80 percent of his first-serve points in it and broke for 5-3 in game 8 before serving out the match, with Vukic not earning a break point of his own in the set. He finished with 16 aces to Vukic's six, and with two conversions from 16 break points. The result ends a three-match losing run for Jacquet, whose previous win came at the Estoril Open in July.
