Stefanos Tsitsipas won 72 percent of his second-serve points to Raphael Collignon's 44 with zero double faults to the No. 7 seed's four, and turned that edge into five breaks against two. The unseeded ATP No. 85 closed it 6-4 6-7(3) 6-3 in 2 hours, 16 minutes. It's his fourth title on record, the biggest of them still the 2024 Monte-Carlo Masters, won through a semifinal defeat of then-ATP No. 2 Jannik Sinner.
Collignon made the champion earn it, saving eight of 13 break points plus a match point and stealing the second set 7-6(3), but he won 46 percent of the day's points to Tsitsipas's 54. Gstaad ends the week with its ranking order inverted: the trophy goes to the No. 85, the runner-up finish to the man 43 places above him.
The only seed left at Swiss Open Gstaad was a point from going out Saturday. No. 7 seed Raphael Collignon took one game in his semifinal's opening set, winning half his first-serve points to No. 6 seed Juan Manuel Cerundolo's 88 percent, then saved a match point and recovered 1-6 7-6(5) 7-5 in 2 hours, 26 minutes, breaking twice from 4-2 down in the decider. The other semifinal ran cleaner. Stefanos Tsitsipas held 13 of 14 service games and won 74 percent of second-serve points to Alexander Shevchenko's 53 in a 6-4 3-6 6-3 win. Sunday's final gives the ATP No. 85 a shot at Collignon, with no prior meetings on record between them — the top six seeds are out, and the last seed left plays for the title.

Nobody won a round-of-16 match in straight sets on Day 4 at Swiss Open Gstaad, and the tightest decider belonged to Stefanos Tsitsipas. Winless at tour level since the 2023 US Open and down at ATP No. 343, home wild card Dominic Stricker opened Swiss Open Gstaad with the day's headline: an 82-minute, 6-2 6-4 dismissal of No. 8 seed Jaume Munar. The return game did it — Stricker converted 5 of 7 break points, limited Munar to four holds in nine service games, and out-aced him 7-3.
The other seed in action flirted with the same fate: No. 7 Raphael Collignon dropped the opener to qualifier Timofey Skatov before escaping in 2h 37m, 3-6 7-6(1) 6-4.
