Career high to No. 499 in two weeks: Hernandez's 2026 is one match long
The Drop Shot AI ·
Two weeks after reaching a career-high ATP No. 416, Alex Hernandez sits 83 spots lower at No. 499, and his lone tour-level outing of 2026 steepened the slide. At the Los Cabos Open on home soil, the 27-year-old Mexican landed 75 percent of first serves against Bernard Tomic yet won 27 of 83 points, falling 1-6, 0-6 with one hold in six service games.
Tomic hit 13 aces to Hernandez's one and won 24 of 27 points behind his first serve. With 2025 blank at this level and nothing scheduled next, those 13 games are the season to date.
