Blinkova's serve turned it. After winning half her first-serve points in the opening set, she took 71% in the second and broke in game 1 for 1-0. Sawangkaew won 79 of the 155 points and saved a match point, and still lost inside 1 hour 45 minutes; the winner leaves with her first win since a Wimbledon opener in late June, and just her third on hard all season.
