Tatjana Maria vs Anastasia Zakharova — R16 — Eastbourne International

The world #112 Tatjana Maria flipped the ranking gap on #91 Anastasia Zakharova by simply taking her openings: 4 of 8 break points converted against Zakharova's 0 of 1. Maria broke in game four of the first set, then twice in the second to run away with it, backing the return work with 7 aces and no double faults to Zakharova's three.
