Suzan Lamens' first win in nearly a year took three sets and 2 hours 14 minutes against Brazilian wild card Carolina Alves in the SP Open round of 32. The Dutch player had lost her previous six matches on record, her last victory a straight-sets win over Diana Shnaider at the Korea Open in September 2025.
