Iva Jovic defeated Harriet Dart 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 — China Open 2026 R64.
Iva Jovic and Harriet Dart: Iva Jovic leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Tenth seed Iva Jovic came from a set down to beat Harriet Dart in the China Open round of 64, her opening match after a first-round bye. The 18-year-old American, ranked 13th, took the Guadalajara Open title two weeks earlier, and the win over Dart extends her run to five straight victories. Dart, a Briton ranked 116th, had needed three sets to beat Yihan Qu in the first round. She converted three of five break points in the opening set to take it 6-2. Over the next two sets she earned 10 more break points but converted only two, and Jovic broke straight back after each of those breaks. In the deciding set, Jovic broke in the opening game before Dart broke back for 3-3. Jovic broke again for 4-3 and won the last two games.
