Toby Samuel vs Juan Manuel Cerundolo — QF — Eastbourne International

Toby Samuel, ranked #144, knocked out the #45 Juan Manuel Cerundolo 6-3 at Eastbourne, and the return ledger tells the story: Samuel converted one of his three break points while Cerundolo went 0-for-7. Samuel saved all seven break points he faced and never dropped serve, breaking in game four of the opener. Cerundolo's four double faults — none from the Brit — kept handing back the second-serve pressure he generated. A first grass meeting, and Samuel takes the H2H 1-0.
