Ignacio Buse vs Jakub Mensik — R16 — Hamburg Open

World No. 57 Ignacio Buse handed 28th-ranked Jakub Mensik a first-set bagel and never gave the favourite a path back, converting all four break points he earned while saving all four he faced in a 62-minute Round of 16 upset. The return numbers carried it: Buse won 45% of first-serve return points to Mensik's 19%, and stacked 22 winners against 13 unforced errors. In their first meeting — and first on clay — the Peruvian leaves no doubt about who controlled the baseline.
