Ignacio Buse defeated Ugo Humbert 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 — Hamburg Open 2026 Quarterfinal.
Ignacio Buse and Ugo Humbert: Ignacio Buse leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
World No. 57 Ignacio Buse toppled No. 34 Ugo Humbert in their first meeting by converting 8 of 13 break points to the Frenchman's 6 of 8 — out-breaking the favourite where it counted. Humbert's serve leaked all afternoon: five double faults and just 38% of his break points saved (5 of 13) handed Buse the breaks that bracketed the second-set wobble. Buse closed with a 6-3 third after dropping the middle frame, edging the points 107-103 over 160 minutes.
