Arthur Fery defeated Roman Andres Burruchaga 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 — Eastbourne International 2026 R32.
Roman Andres Burruchaga and Arthur Fery: Arthur Fery leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Arthur Fery, 78 places below his opponent at No. 140, beat No. 62 Roman Andres Burruchaga 2-6, 6-4, 5-7 — wait, that reads wrong: 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 — on the strength of his second serve, where he won 24 of 36 points (67%) to Burruchaga's 9 of 25 (36%). That 31-point gap masked a tense finish: Burruchaga broke first in game three of the decider, but Fery broke straight back at 5-5 in game 10 to serve it out. A first meeting, first on grass, at Eastbourne.
