Karolina Pliskova defeated Sara Bejlek 2-6, 7(7)-6(3), 6-2 — Nottingham Open 2026 R32.
Sara Bejlek and Karolina Pliskova are level at 1–1 across 2 recorded meetings.
Ranked 60 spots below her opponent at No. 106, Karolina Pliskova erased a one-set deficit to bounce Sara Bejlek 2-6, 7-6(7), 6-2 in their first meeting. The swing was on return: after Bejlek cashed 3 of 5 break points to steal the opener, Pliskova broke three times in the decider — games 2, 6 and 8 — and ran out the closing set. A second-set tiebreak that survived multiple set and match points was the hinge. Pliskova next faces Caty McNally.
