Lisa Pigato

Lisa Pigato is a 23-year-old Italian right-hander whose ranking has climbed steeply through 2026. She opened the season at WTA No. 266 and stood at WTA No. 113 with 675 WTA points on 22 September 2026, the best mark in her ranking history on record. The nearest snapshot from a year earlier had her at No. 404.

That climb has outrun her exposure at the top level. Every WTA 1000 main draw on her record has come in Rome: she reached the second round of the 2023 Italian Open, then lost her opening match in 2024 and again at the 2026 edition.

The 2023 visit also holds her only tour-level main-draw win on record, against Diletta Cherubini, then WTA No. 364. Three years later she took the opening set 6-1 from Tyra Caterina Grant in Rome and then lost 2-6, 4-6, her only recorded match of 2026.

Most of the tennis behind this year's rise falls outside our match records, which begin in 2017 and list only a handful of her matches. As of 22 September 2026, the ranking is the firmest evidence of the season she has put together.
