Xinyu Wang defeated Leylah Fernandez 6-3, 6-4 — Bad Homburg Open 2026 R16.
Xinyu Wang and Leylah Fernandez: Xinyu Wang leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Xinyu Wang converted 4 of 5 break points to Leylah Fernandez's 2 of 4, and that return efficiency settled a straight-sets win at the Bad Homburg Open. Wang broke twice early in each set — games 3 and 5 to open the first, then game 2 of the second — and Fernandez's six double faults kept handing back the initiative.
