Sara Sorribes Tormo vs Alina Charaeva — R32 — Hamburg Open

The comeback ran through four match points. Down a set at the MSC Hamburg Ladies Open, Alina Charaeva saved all four in the second set and converted 10 of 19 break points to Sara Sorribes Tormo's 8 of 20 across a match that produced 18 breaks of serve. Then the decider tilted for good. Charaeva broke in games 1, 3 and 5 for 5-0, winning 67 percent of first-serve points in the set while the WTA No. 212 managed 33. Sorribes Tormo broke eight times and won 70 percent of second-return points, but held just 4 of 14 service games. The reward is a last-16 meeting with WTA No. 94 Sinja Kraus.
