Aryna Sabalenka and Camila Osorio: Aryna Sabalenka leads 2–0 across 2 recorded meetings.
Holding serve was the optional part of this one, as seven of the 17 games went the returner's way. Sabalenka cashed 5 of 8 break points to Osorio's 2 of 7, and the 58th-ranked Colombian's nine double faults thinned what was left of the margin. A break in game 9 for 5-4 shut the door in 1h 26m, pushing the top seed to 27-3 on hard courts this year after her Cincinnati round-of-16 exit.
