Aryna Sabalenka defeated Hailey Baptiste 6-4, 6-4 — Miami Open 2026 Quarterfinal.
Aryna Sabalenka and Hailey Baptiste are level at 1–1 across 2 recorded meetings.
Sabalenka converted 10 of 14 break points to short-circuit Baptiste's breakout week. The return game did the damage — Baptiste landed just 49% of first serves and won only 43% behind the second, and an opening-game break in each set set the margin. Baptiste, who'd ousted Ostapenko and Svitolina without dropping a set, gets no further. Sabalenka draws Rybakina next.
