Antonia Ruzic defeated Kamilla Rakhimova 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 — Italian Open 2026 R128.
Antonia Ruzic and Kamilla Rakhimova: Antonia Ruzic leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Antonia Ruzic survived a return game that betrayed her early, converting just 5 of 10 break points to Kamilla Rakhimova's ruthless 5-of-6 (83%) on the day. The difference came in the decider: after getting handed back the bagel-adjacent second set 1-6, Ruzic held her second serve when it mattered, breaking twice to close 6-3. Rakhimova saved half her break points but couldn't crack Ruzic's 68% first-serve rate when the third set tightened — the first meeting on clay goes to the Croatian.
