Mariano Navone defeated Casper Ruud 7-5, 6-2 — Geneva Open 2026 Semifinal.
Casper Ruud and Mariano Navone: Mariano Navone leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
World No. 42 Mariano Navone knocked out 17th-ranked Casper Ruud 7-5, 6-2, and the return numbers tell the story: he converted 6 of his 8 break points (75%) to Ruud's 3 of 7. Ruud's first serve betrayed him at 53%, and Navone punished the second ball — 75% of those return points went the Argentine's way. He hit 27 winners to 21 and kept the error count to 19. In their first career meeting, and first on clay, Navone reaches the Geneva final.
