Kaitlin Quevedo defeated Nadia Podoroska 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 — SP Open 2026 Final.

Kaitlin Quevedo and Nadia Podoroska: Kaitlin Quevedo leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.

Kaitlin Quevedo dropped the first set of the SP Open final and won the next two to take the title in São Paulo. The 20-year-old Spaniard, the No. 7 seed at WTA No. 105, collects the first title on her record. Nadia Podoroska is the runner-up at the WTA 250. Podoroska set the early terms. She broke in the first and third games of the opening set for a 3-0 lead, and although Quevedo broke back in game 4, Podoroska's two conversions from five break chances in the set stood up for 6-4. The second set began the same way, with a Podoroska break in the opening game, but this time Quevedo broke back immediately in game 2 and took the set 6-4. She conceded two games in the third. Podoroska, ranked WTA No. 317, had arrived in the final on four straight wins, among them a straight-sets semifinal against Paula Badosa. The Argentine began 2026 ranked outside the top 900 and is currently at her best mark of the season. The two players had no prior meetings on record. Quevedo had dropped only one set in reaching the final, in a three-set semifinal with Anna Blinkova. She started the season at WTA No. 141 and has been as high as No. 94 this year.
