Andrea Pellegrino vs Luca Nardi — R128 — Italian Open

Andrea Pellegrino lost the opening set 6-4 but turned the match on his return: he converted 4 of 11 break points against Luca Nardi, who managed just 2 of 4, and cut his unforced errors well below his opponent's 44 to claim the last two sets 6-3, 6-3. The decisive shift came in second-serve exchanges — Pellegrino won 50% of his second-serve return points and held Nardi to 50% on his own. In their first meeting, and first on clay, the chances taken on return made the difference.
