Oleksandra Oliynykova defeated Kimberly Birrell 6-3, 0-6, 7(10)-6(5) — French Open 2026 R64.
Oleksandra Oliynykova and Kimberly Birrell: Oleksandra Oliynykova leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Oliynykova survived a swing-heavy three-setter, taking the decider 7-6(5) after Birrell blanked her 6-0 in the second. The margin lived behind the second serve: Oliynykova won 54% of those points to Birrell's 41%, and Birrell's 11 double faults — to just three from the Ukrainian — kept handing back leverage. Total points split 88-88, but Oliynykova converted 3 of 5 break chances to advance at Roland-Garros.
