Linda Noskova defeated Clara Tauson 7(7)-6(3), 6-2 — Cincinnati Open 2026 R32.
Linda Noskova and Clara Tauson: Clara Tauson leads 2–1 across 3 recorded meetings.
Seventeen aces against 10 double faults is not a clean serving day, and Noskova barely needed one: 78% of first-serve points won did the job. She broke back in game 10 of the opener for 5-5, then climbed to 92% on first serves in the second. Tauson took her chances, 1 of 2 on break points to Noskova's 3 of 9, and still lost 65 of the 143 points. The Wimbledon champion is through in 1h 37m, still without a set dropped at the Cincinnati Open.
