Linda Noskova defeated Elise Mertens 6-3, 7-5 — Wimbledon 2026 Quarterfinal.
Linda Noskova and Elise Mertens: Linda Noskova leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Untouched on serve, Linda Noskova held all 10 service games and faced just one break point in reaching a first Grand Slam semifinal at Wimbledon. The margin lived behind the second serve — Elise Mertens won just 39% of her second-serve points against Noskova's 60% — and with the second set locked on serve, Noskova broke in game 11 for 6-5, then served out the deepest major run of her career, one round beyond her 2024 Australian Open quarterfinal.
