Elena Gabriela Ruse defeated Emma Navarro 6-4, 6-2 — Bad Homburg Open 2026 Quarterfinal.
Emma Navarro and Elena Gabriela Ruse: Emma Navarro leads 2–1 across 3 recorded meetings.
Ruse, ranked No. 105, turned the No. 25 Navarro into a non-factor on return: zero break points won, while Ruse converted 3 of 5 and broke in both sets. The gap was the second serve — Navarro won just 42% of her second-serve points to Ruse's 62%, and three double faults in the second set handed back the rest. It avenges Ruse's place in a 2-1 head-to-head and snaps Navarro's run at the Bad Homburg Open, where she'd ousted Swiatek a round earlier.
