Brandon Nakashima vs Marin Cilic — R64 — Miami Open

Marin Cilic lost the opener 6-2 and trailed on the scoreboard for an hour, then turned the rematch on ball-striking: 40 winners to Brandon Nakashima's 24, including the cleaner margins through a third set that held serve all the way to a 9-7 tiebreak. The break in game one of the second set reset everything after Nakashima had broken twice early. Cilic's 18 aces and 51% on second-serve points carried him through the decider, avenging February's Delray Beach loss to Nakashima and squaring the H2H at 1-1. He books a date with Alexander Zverev next.
