Jaume Munar defeated Francisco Cerundolo 6-1, 6-4, 6-3 — Wimbledon 2026 R128.
Jaume Munar and Francisco Cerundolo are level at 2–2 across 4 recorded meetings.
Fresh off a Queen's Club title run, Cerundolo arrived at Wimbledon as the WTA—no, the heavy ATP No. 21 favorite and never found a foothold against No. 44 Jaume Munar, who converted 4 of 11 break points while holding Francisco Cerundolo to 0 of 7. Munar saved all seven break points he faced and won 94% of his first-serve points, breaking three times in the opening set alone for a 6-1 stranglehold. The error column sealed it: 14 unforced for Munar against 26 for the Argentine, who couldn't crack a returner who lost just three first-serve points all afternoon.
