Karolina Muchova defeated Barbora Krejcikova 7-5, 5-7, 6-3 — Wimbledon 2026 R16.
Karolina Muchova and Barbora Krejcikova: Karolina Muchova leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Everything separating these two lived behind the second ball: Karolina Muchova won 66% of her second-serve points to Barbora Krejcikova's 51%, and it was enough to survive an all-Czech Round of 16 that ran 2 hours 38 minutes — their first meeting on record. Krejcikova erased a 4-2 second-set hole to level the match, but Muchova struck 47 winners to 24 and sealed the decider with a break in game 4 for 3-1. It's the first set she's dropped all fortnight at Wimbledon, and it books her a quarterfinal berth.
