Sinner won the Indian Wells title without ever facing a break point, claiming both sets in tiebreaks against Medvedev, who held all 12 of his own service games before losing the breakers. The difference was margins on serve: Sinner won 91% of first-serve points to Medvedev's 77%, and went a perfect 8 for 8 at net. He also out-hit the Russian 28 winners to 15, enough edge in two sets that turned on a handful of points. Sinner now leads the H2H 7-3.
