Ajla Tomljanovic defeated Caty McNally 6-4, 6-4 — Rosmalen Open 2026 Quarterfinal.
Caty McNally and Ajla Tomljanovic: Caty McNally leads 2–1 across 3 recorded meetings.
Ajla Tomljanovic, ranked #100, beat #63 Caty McNally behind the one stat that decided it: 61% of second-serve points won to McNally's 45%. That 16-point gap let Tomljanovic break for both sets — including the closing game 10 each time. McNally fired 10 aces to four but never solved the return, converting just 4 of 8 break points. The win avenges Tomljanovic's French Open three-set loss to McNally three weeks back and books a semifinal with Robin Montgomery.
