Fabian Marozsan vs Hubert Hurkacz — R32 — Monte-Carlo Masters

Hurkacz, the world #74, never let #43 Marozsan into a single return game — the Hungarian won zero of his eight break points to none, while Hurkacz converted three of his own. The serve numbers tell the rest: Hurkacz won 81% of first-serve points to Marozsan's 53%, stacking seven aces against none and 14 unforced errors to Marozsan's 33. Breaks in games 4 and 8 settled the first set; one more break in game 8 closed the second. Hurkacz, snapping a stretch of early exits, next gets Valentin Vacherot.
