Tatjana Maria defeated Dayana Yastremska 6-1, 6-2 — Cincinnati Open 2026 R128.
Tatjana Maria and Dayana Yastremska: Tatjana Maria leads 2–0 across 2 recorded meetings.
The second serve decided it. Yastremska won 6 of 20 points behind hers and held twice in seven service games, while Maria broke in game 2 for 2-0, again for 4-0, and led the rest of the way. It repeats the only prior meeting on record, a June win on Nottingham grass — this one took the 80th-ranked German 1h 12m, and it ends a two-match slide.
