Madison Keys won after Petra Marcinko retired (6-1) — Eastbourne International 2026 Semifinal.
Petra Marcinko and Madison Keys: Madison Keys leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Up 6-1 and into the second set, Madison Keys advanced when Petra Marcinko retired at 1-6, 0-0 after just 31 minutes — no documented reason has surfaced. Keys had already broken in games 1, 5 and 7, converting 3 of 4 break points before the stoppage. Marcinko, into her first grass semifinal off three wins in the draw, leaked five double faults in that lone set.
