Jessica Bouzas Maneiro vs Anna Bondar — R128 — Cincinnati Open

The second serve did the separating: Bouzas Maneiro won 50 percent of hers to Bondar's 34, enough to cover eight double faults, seven of them in the second set alone. That set also cost her a 4-0 cushion, the Hungarian breaking in game 5 for 1-4 and again in game 7 for 3-4, and Bondar saved a match point before the tiebreak finally shut it. Katerina Siniakova, No. 37 at the time, is next.
