Jiri Lehecka and Adolfo Daniel Vallejo: Jiri Lehecka leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Jiri Lehecka reached the semifinals of the Japan Open, Tokyo's ATP 500 event, with a 58-minute win over Adolfo Daniel Vallejo, losing only two games. Lehecka, ranked ATP No. 23, had gone to a deciding set in both of his earlier matches, recovering from a set down against Ugo Humbert. Vallejo is a 22-year-old Paraguayan who began the season ranked 143rd and came in at ATP No. 56. He had not dropped a set this week, and his round-of-16 win came against Matteo Berrettini. Lehecka held serve throughout. He broke in the opening game, the first of three breaks in the first set. Two more breaks, in the second and fourth games of the next set, put him ahead 4-0. Vallejo landed 70 percent of his first serves, but Lehecka won half of those points.
