Tamara Korpatsch and Xinyu Wang: Tamara Korpatsch leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
World No. 95 Tamara Korpatsch flipped the ranking sheet on No. 34 Xinyu Wang, converting 5 of 8 break points to Wang's 4 of 15 in a first career meeting. The difference was Korpatsch making her openings count while Wang sprayed 65 unforced errors against just 34 winners — and stalled at 38% on break-point defense (3 of 8 saved). Korpatsch saved 11 of 15 herself, weathering the middle-set lull where Wang grabbed the second 6-2 before the German broke decisively in the third.
