Hannah Klugman vs Tereza Valentova — R32 — Eastbourne International

Three hours of broken serve and neither player able to put the other away: Valentova outlasted Klugman 7-5, 5-7, 7-5 with serve so leaky it never settled. The decider alone changed hands five times — Valentova broke in games 7, 9 and 11, Klugman broke right back in 8 and 10 — before the No. 509 finally handed it over with six double faults in the third set. Valentova won just 58% behind her first serve and dumped in 10 doubles of her own, but converted 9 of 19 break points to Klugman's 8 of 17. A first meeting on grass, decided by who blinked last.
