Alejandro Davidovich Fokina won the Chengdu Open, beating Hubert Hurkacz 6-4, 7-6(7) in the final of the ATP 250 in China. The second seed held all 11 of his service games, and the match's only break came in game 7 of the opening set, for 4-3. Hurkacz, the fifth seed, hit 17 aces to Davidovich Fokina's eight and saved five of six break points. The one chance he created, in the first set, went unconverted, and the second set produced no breaks before the tiebreak. Davidovich Fokina won 87 percent of his first-serve points, 46 of 53.
