Tom Gentzsch and Rinky Hijikata: Rinky Hijikata leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Rinky Hijikata lost the opening tiebreak 9-7 and trailed in the match, then flipped it behind the second serve: he won 63% of his second-serve points (29 of 46) while holding Tom Gentzsch to 27% (8 of 30) — the 36-point gap that decided the BOSS Open meeting.
