Cristian Garin defeated Matteo Arnaldi 6-2, 6-4 — Monte-Carlo Masters 2026 R64.
Cristian Garin and Matteo Arnaldi: Cristian Garin leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
Cristian Garin won 68% of his first-serve points to Matteo Arnaldi's 52%, and that 16-point gap carried a routine straight-sets win at the Monte-Carlo Masters. Arnaldi's 30 unforced errors — 11 more than Garin — kept the breaks coming, four in the second set alone. Garin, ending a four-match losing run, books Alexander Zverev next.
