Kilian Feldbausch vs Ignacio Buse — R16 — Austrian Open Kitzbühel

Break-point conversion decided it. Ignacio Buse cashed 6 of 7 break points while Kilian Feldbausch converted 4 of 8, the decisive split in a match three points apart, 74-71. The No. 5 seed had won just 29 percent of first-serve points in a lost opener against the ATP No. 262. The correction was immediate. Buse broke in game 1 of the second for 1-0, lifted that figure to 79 percent, then 73 in a decider packing five breaks into its first seven games. Feldbausch won 64 percent of first-serve points in the opener but 43 in the third and 4 of 13 on second serve, and Buse closed it 1 hour, 54 minutes in, carrying a second straight three-setter into the Kitzbühel Open quarterfinals.
