Flavio Cobolli vs Frances Tiafoe — R32 — Halle Open

Six days removed from a Roland-Garros final, world No. 10 Cobolli couldn't solve his second serve against No. 26 Tiafoe, who won 69% of his own second-serve points to the Italian's 43% — the 26-point gap that flipped the seeding. Tiafoe broke three times in the opener (games 1, 5 and 8) to take it 6-2, then converted nothing in a clean second set that went to a tiebreak he edged 7-4. He moves on to face Sho Shimabukuro in his first grass meeting with the rivalry now 3-1 his way.
