Moise Kouame defeated Marin Cilic 7(7)-6(4), 6-2, 6-1 — French Open 2026 R128.
Marin Cilic and Moise Kouame: Moise Kouame leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
World No. 318 Moise Kouame flipped a 272-spot ranking gap on No. 46 Marin Cilic in their first career meeting, pocketing the opening tiebreak before pulling away 6-2, 6-1. The return game made it: Kouame cashed 4 of 7 break points while Cilic went 0-for-7 and saved none of the seven he faced. Cilic's error count buried him — 57 unforced to Kouame's 34 — and the Croat won just 46% of his second-serve points. A clean clay-court ambush in the Roland-Garros opening round.
