Marie Bouzkova vs Iva Jovic — R32 — Cincinnati Open

Serve carried no authority here: the 24 games split evenly, both women broken five times, and just eight points between them, 88 to 80. Jovic served for the opener and was broken in game 9 for 4-5, then earned the same chance in the second by breaking for 5-4 in game 9, only to be broken straight back in game 10 for 5-5. Bouzkova's first delivery carried that set, 79 percent of those points won to Jovic's 58. Jovic, the market's 62 percent pick, saved two match points before the end at 2 hours 14 minutes; Bouzkova, 6-10 on hard courts in 2026, is into the Cincinnati round of 16.
