Down a set after dropping the opener, Elena Rybakina found the decider in the back half: the break in game 8 of the third sealed a 3-6 finish, capping a 31-winners-to-34-errors slugfest where she leaked far more than Lois Boisson (just 14 unforced) but generated the cleaner power. The middle set was the scare — Boisson broke four times, including consecutive games 6 and 7, to level at 6-1.
