Anna Blinkova and Taylah Preston: Taylah Preston leads 1–0 across 1 recorded meeting.
The world No. 126 Taylah Preston out-converted the higher-ranked Anna Blinkova on the chances that mattered, taking 7 of 10 break points to the No. 105's 5 of 12 to turn a first-set deficit into a second-round win at the Nottingham Open. The middle set was the hinge: Preston won 77% of her first-serve points to Blinkova's 40%, breaking in games 1 and 5.
