Sara Bejlek vs Laura Siegemund — R32 — Eastbourne International

Down a set and outplayed behind the second serve all afternoon, Sara Bejlek found just enough in the breakers to flip a match she statistically lost. Laura Siegemund won 60% of her second-serve points to Bejlek's 46% and actually took more total points (119 to 113), but it didn't matter once the sets reached tiebreaks — Bejlek closed them 7-2 and 7-3. Siegemund had a set point in the second and a match point in the third slip away. Bejlek, broken eight times across 33 games, saved 7 of 14 break points to survive and next meets Zeynep Sonmez.
